thanks giving, day 2

we got a little bit of snow sunday night/monday morning. during the day monday it started to melt around the edges, but by the evening what had melted had re-frozen - making a nice thin sheet of ice. this morning as i was taking my garbage up to the road, i was quite thankful for the li'l bag of rock salt i found in the garage. :) when i got home tonight, my porch was clear and so was the edge of the driveway where i step out of my car.

i went to lunch with clint today. i had brought leftovers to eat, but they just didn't sound as good as bennigan's ... so i was pretty thankful when he came over to see if i wanted to go out. the food was good, and we had a good time. i left feeling thankful for silly conversations and at-your-fingertips internet access to point out that a private jet would be more practical for cross-country travel than a helicopter.

i'm also thankful to have dreamweaver loaded on my machine at work. it's been there for two years, but it just occurred to me that i really need to learn to use it. and obviously the company wants me to learn to use it - or it wouldn't be on my machine. so that's a thanks for the program and a thanks for the realization that there is more fulfillment to be eked out of my job.

and a thanks that clint's on the other side of the office, just waiting for me to interrupt him with dreamweaver-related questions.

i was also quite thankful to hear that mike's posting a new chapter tonight. i do love me my life in heaven fix. :)

I don't know what a dreamweaver is, but soon as I read the word the song started singing in my head! Thanks 'becca.

I'm thankful that 'becca didn't go on radio silent for some time, that would have been very sad! It is a little sad that the previous posts are gone again... but I'd rather have you here and them gone.

i'd feel bad ... but i don't know what song you're referring to. :)

sorry for making you dig for the posts though. i just think the page starts looking messy with a bunch of posts on it. maybe i could compromise with having two or three days show up ...

i pop my cookies in a cookie-popper. Sort of like a popcorn popper. Only different.

You don't know the dreamweaver song? That might not be what it is actually called... it is from the 70's or something. Thanks for adding more posts!! I love it!
